Motiva is proud to be part of the Aramco base oil family, which also includes Aramco affiliates S-OIL and Luberef. Collaboration between Aramco affiliate companies also includes integration opportunities with Valvoline Global Products. Products are marketed under one brand to strengthen global reach and maximize opportunities to serve existing and gain new customers. Combined, the group boasts a 10 percent market share, selling one in every 10 barrels of base oils around the globe.

Our Goal: A 15% Reduction in Carbon Intensity by 2030
As an Aramco affiliate company, Motiva’s operations are included in Aramco’s plan to achieve net-zero Scope 1 and Scope 2 greenhouse gas emissions across its wholly owned operated assets by 2050. To that end, we have established a goal to deliver a 15% reduction in carbon intensity by 2030. We will achieve this goal through:
Implementing economically and operationally feasible measures, including generating lower-carbon power and steam
Improving process efficiency
Minimizing energy loss
Using the latest available control technologies

Last week, Motiva hosted the Aramco Affiliates Alliance conference in Houston, Texas. Attendees participated in a volunteer activity for Kids' Meals, Inc. and discussed collaboration, technology and innovation, and ongoing sustainability efforts.
