Online Onboarding
We’ve tried to make the procurement procedure as painless as possible. Our buyers and suppliers use automated online platforms throughout the process – from setting up a profile to buying a product and receiving payment. These platforms accelerate processing, minimize errors, and allow us to collaborate more easily with you.
How We Work
Motiva has a simple framework that clearly lays out what we expect from our suppliers. Suppliers must commit to either our business principles or equal standards in their own activities and subcontracting. It’s also essential that suppliers provide workers with a dedicated whistle-blowing mechanism to confidentially report grievances.
Supplier Principles
We prioritize maintaining an ethical supply chain. All contractors and suppliers must follow our Supplier Code of Conduct, outlining our expectations for suppliers, including health, safety, and environmental standards; human rights; and anti-retaliation measures.
Business Integrity
Contractors and suppliers comply with all applicable laws and regulations. They do not tolerate bribery, corruption, or unethical practices, while avoiding conflict of interest and supporting fair competition.
Local Community
Contractors and suppliers respect their neighbors and contribute to the communities in which they operate.
Health, Safety, and the Environment (HSE)
Contractors and suppliers protect the environment, complying with applicable laws and regulations. They strive to use energy and natural resources efficiently, seeking to minimize waste, emissions, and discharge. They comply with our Life Saving Rules.
Compliance
They comply with applicable laws and regulations on freedom of association, collective bargaining, and hours. They do not tolerate discrimination, harassment, or retaliation and provide a safe workplace, with wages that meet or exceed national standards.
Supplier Code of Conduct
Motiva’s Supplier Code of Conduct is based on our core values and outlines our expectations of the work practices of our vendors, suppliers and contractors. We expect them to adhere to our fundamental values, policies, procedures, and this Code.
Life Saving Rules
Motiva’s comprehensive safety program includes everyone who enters a Motiva facility. Our 12 Life Saving Rules are the baseline for personal safety at Motiva and ensure that every individual at our facility conducts business safely.
HSE Policy
Our HSE Policy outlines how we operate in a safe and responsible manner, and protect the safety and health of our employees, contractors, customers, and communities. It represents our core values and is fundamental to our operations.
