Sports marketing takes advantage of the fact that sports are almost universally popular and drive a high degree of passion and loyalty among fans. Motiva is just as passionate about the 76® brand, so we develop marketing campaigns in key markets to take advantage of the popularity and devotion many fans feel toward their favorite teams.  Our goal is to help wholesalers build a loyal following of 76®  in their communities. 

Houston Dynamo

Sponsoring the Houston Dynamo enabled Motiva to support our hometown team and introduce the 76® brand to the Houston marketplace.​ ​As part of the sponsorship, the BBVA Compass Stadium’s southwest gate has been renamed the 76 Gate, signage is featured throughout the stadium with in-game promotions and on-field fan events during halftime. In addition to these high exposure elements, the 76® brand is also the official title sponsor of the Houston Dynamo Unified Special Olympics team.

The University of Georgia Athletics Association

To support the advertising efforts of our Motiva-supplied 76® stations in Georgia, we sponsor the University of Georgia Athletics Association. As part of the sponsorship, 76® was featured through in-stadium branding, a videoboard feature, radio advertising, concourse activities, and mascot appearances at station grand openings and special events. And probably the most fun, our 76® brand ambassadors participated in a big University of Georgia tradition – the Dawg Walk – at every football game.
