Southeast Texas Emergency Relief Fund (SETERF) announced it has received $3 million from Motiva Enterprises for Hurricane Harvey recovery and rebuilding efforts in Port Arthur and the surrounding areas of Jefferson, Hardin and Orange counties.

Motiva has doubled its 76® sales force and plans to increase print, digital, social and broadcast marketing and advertising in 2018. As the momentum of the company’s aggressive growth strategy for the 76® brand strengthens, Motiva intends to grow its supply and support of 76® branded retail stations by 250 sites annually.

Brian Coffman, former senior vice president of refining for Andeavor Corporation, has been named president and chief executive officer of Motiva Enterprises LLC. Brian brings with him a wealth of experience in business growth, operational excellence, strategy, and margin delivery.

Motiva Enterprises expands its Motiva STAR base oils portfolio to include Group III premium base oils. Motiva’s STAR HVI 4 and STAR HVI 6 are manufactured and shipped from the Port Arthur Refinery – the largest base oil plant in the western hemisphere.

Continuing its growth plan to supply 76® stations throughout its territory, Motiva announced the grand opening of the newest and largest 76® branded gas station in Texas. The 76® Travel Center, located in Nash, Texas, has a 20,000-square foot convenience store, 14 fuel pumps, a large truck fueling area and four quick-service restaurants onsite, including Dunkin Donuts, Golden Chick, Steak N’ Shake and Texas Best Smokehouse Barbeque.

Motiva has pledged $500,000 to support disaster recovery efforts in Houston and Port Arthur after Tropical Storm Harvey’s devastating impact over the past several days. In addition, the company will match employee contributions as part of the company’s internal-giving programs.

Motiva announced the grand opening of the first 76® branded station using the new 76® “Crest” image and legacy color palette of orange and blue in the Greater New York market. As the first Motiva-supplied 76® station along the east coast to use the new 76® image and color scheme, the Island Park site signifies the start of Motiva’s aggressive growth plan to supply 76® stations throughout its territory of 26 gulf and east coast states.

Following announcements at the Saudi-U.S. CEO Forum earlier this week, Motiva Enterprises LLC confirms it has embarked on a growth journey to become the safest and most profitable downstream business in the U.S. As a wholly-owned affiliate of Saudi Aramco, Motiva is expected to be the primary focus of an estimated $18 billion growth effort throughout the Americas and is exploring opportunities to increase refining capacity, branch into chemicals, and expand its commercial operations, marketing and branded presence over the next five years.
